Tracks, sills, and sliders
Window track cleaning on 30A.
Beach sand cleared out of window and sliding door tracks, so doors roll easier and rainwater can drain out of the frame.
Beach sand ends up in the tracks under your sliding doors. It rides in on feet, towels and the wind, settles in the channel with salt and bits of leaves, and the humidity packs it into grit that grinds every time the door rolls.
Track cleaning digs it out of the tracks, runners and corners of windows and sliders, wipes the sills, and clears the small drain openings, called weep holes, that let rainwater out of the frame. When those clog, water from an afternoon storm backs up in the track.
On the quote form it's one option with screens, since the tracks sit right under the screens and catch what they shed. Rentals with steady beach traffic through the sliders see the most difference.
