Window cleaning in WaterColor.

WaterColor was developed by the St. Joe Company starting around 2000, between Grayton Beach State Park and Seaside. It runs from the beach north across 30A to Western Lake, and the houses follow a shared style: deep porches, tall windows, French doors and rows of transoms.

That style means a lot of glass per house, much of it in small pieces. French doors with divided lights and transoms over doors take longer than plain windows, so count them when you tell us about the house. Transoms over a second-floor porch are usually within reach of our pole from the ground.

Where the house sits changes what's on the glass. Near the beach it's salt and sand. Up by Western Lake it's humidity, pollen and sprinkler spots on the lower panes, and the haze builds more slowly. Either way, exterior window cleaning on a regular schedule keeps it from setting in.
