Inside glass and sliding doors
Interior window cleaning on 30A.
Inside glass on windows and doors, cleaned by hand, as an add-on to your outside window cleaning.
The inside of the glass gets a different kind of dirty: handprints on sliding doors, nose prints at kid and dog height, a greasy film near the kitchen, and fine sand tracked in from the beach. On a house with a lot of Gulf-view glass, the inside is often what you notice first in the afternoon light.
Inside glass is cleaned by hand, not with the pole, so very little water is used. It's an add-on to exterior window cleaning, and doing both sides at the same visit is the only way to see what the glass really looks like. The monthly plan includes two interior cleanings a year.
For rentals, the best time is a turnover day, when the house is empty. Our guide to second home and rental window care has more on timing.

How it works
- 01
Walk the rooms
We note which windows have furniture in front of them and anything you'd like left alone.
- 02
Clear the sills
Anything sitting on a sill is set aside and put back afterward.
- 03
Clean by hand
Each pane is cleaned and the edges detailed, so there are no drips on the frame.
- 04
Check in daylight
We look at the glass in natural light before we leave.
